Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and 0x99M (“we”, “us”), the maker of Shadowkit. They cover the Shadowkit app on Android and iOS, Shadowkit Pro and this website, shadowkit.app. By using any of them, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

1. Using Shadowkit

  • We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal or work purposes.
  • Don’t misuse the app or the site: don’t try to break them, copy and resell them, or use them to break the law.
  • If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

2. Your data

Everything you add to Shadowkit stays on your device, and it’s yours. Because we never hold a copy, we can’t recover it for you. You’re responsible for keeping backups of anything you can’t afford to lose: the app’s export and your phone’s own backup can help.

3. Shadowkit Pro

Shadowkit is free to use. Shadowkit Pro unlocks extra features and is sold through Google Play or the App Store, on the account you’re signed in to.

  • Plans. Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a lifetime one-time purchase. Prices are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, and the store charges your account, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trial. If a plan includes a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings. Pro stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • Refunds. Payments are handled by the store, so refunds follow the Google Play or App Store refund policy. We can’t issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
  • Restoring. Use Restore purchases in the app to bring Pro back on a new device signed in to the same store account.
  • Price changes. If a subscription price changes, the store tells you in advance and, where the law or the store requires it, asks you to agree before you’re charged the new price.

4. What the app shows you

Balances, exchange rates, data usage and other figures in Shadowkit are for your information only. They aren’t financial advice. Check anything important against your bank, provider or another official source.

5. Changes to the app

We keep improving Shadowkit, so features can change over time. We’ll try to keep your data working across updates, but we can’t promise that every feature will always be available.

6. Ownership

The Shadowkit app, name, logo, design, text and screens belong to 0x99M. You may use the press kit to write about Shadowkit.

7. No warranty

Shadowkit is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.

8. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or savings, that comes from using or being unable to use Shadowkit. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Shadowkit Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Shadowkit after a change, the new terms apply.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms are welcome: write to contact@shadowkit.app.
